Currency Exchange in North Cyprus

The official currency of Northern Cyprus is New Turkish Lira (Yeni Turk Lirasi / YTL). However, eurocheques, travellers' cheques, US dollars, euros, UK pounds and other major foreign currencies are usually accepted in banks and hotels. You may also use most of the credit cards to pay in the hotels, supermarkets, etc. In case you want to exchange money into local currency you may address one of the exchange offices listed below.
