There is a well organised public transport system of buses and mini buses in Turkish Cyprus operating within and between towns during the day. In addition to buses you may get so-called 'dolmush', share taxis which may take 6-8 passengers.

Besides, you will find plenty of companies in all the big towns of North Cyprus offering car rental services. The prices for rented cars are reasonable in comparison with Europe or the US. Average fee starts at 20 UK pounds per day during the summer season and 14 pounds per day in winter months.

Taxis are widely available both as a hotel and private service. Although there are set fees for the taxi services, it is better to agree on the cost with the driver before you get into a taxi. You may find taxis in parking zones or contact any of the companies providing taxi services.
